About Simms Knits
Simms Knits makes beanies, sweaters and knit jackets for cold mornings. We started with the beanie, the piece people wear most, and built out from there: a scarf, a sweater, a knit jacket.
The line is small on purpose. Every product page lists the exact fiber content, the fit and how to care for the piece. When something is 100% merino, the page says so. When it's a blend, we list every fiber in it.
What we look for
- Fiber that earns its place. Merino where softness matters, wool where warmth matters, cotton for people who don't wear wool.
- Shapes people actually wear. The short fisherman, the classic cuff, the aran crewneck, the shawl-collar cardigan.
- Measurements up front. Width, height and cuff depth for our beanies, and a size guide for everything with a size.

Our standard
Nothing makes the line that won't last a winter.
Fiber, spelled out
Every piece lists its exact fiber content. 100% merino means 100% merino.
Measured, not guessed
Width, height and cuff depth for our beanies, so you know where one sits before it arrives.
Care that fits the fiber
Wool, cotton and blends each get their own care notes, so a good knit stays good.
Certified wool
Most of our wool beanies use wool certified to the Responsible Wool Standard. It's on each label.
